Chapter 21 ~ 30th August 2010

***Writer's note***

Having a lil trouble bridging Naix's absence, so maybe the few chapters after this gonna be short and boring ><. Well back to the story

Rebellion HQ is located just outside the Inner ring. Its can be accessed through a entry door on the ground 10 feet away from the wall which is concealed by debris. The base was the command post for the empire during the war and is now abandoned. 'The only place we can use is the least probable place they will look for us, which is their abandoned command post.' Usyair was saying while in the underground passageway. 'Are you sure about that?' Leong was saying. 'Yeah, the government labeled the base highly radioactive because this command post was an early design.' Then Usyair sneezed. He wiped off and continued 'As i were saying, this command post was an early design and built early in the war. This mean't that its has no radioactive shielding abilities. Then this place was bombed by the allied forces with nuclear warheads which lead to the abandonment of this place.' Then they reached a large door with a keypad beside it. Usyair keyed in the passcode and the door opened. There was another door fifty feet away from them. 'But if that's the case, its should still be radioactive now.' Same said. 'Well a portion of it does contain radiation so we barred those areas. The rest is usable.'

As they reached the next security door, this one had a retina scanner, palm scanner and a voice verification device but all was not activated.'How did you guys get these high tech stuff?' Leong was wondering. 'We have a few class S hackers in our rebellion, so yeah, they hacked the security system that was already here.'.  Usyair took out his comm device, pulled out a small wire with a jack from the comm device and inserted it into a port in the security panel. The LCD screen lighted up writing 'Device verification completed, please verify your palm prints.'  Usyair put his palm on the glass. and put his eye to the retina scanner. Now the screen reads 'Please verify voice'. 'Usyair is a badass muddafucker.'  Same laughed at the Usyair's password. 'What? everyone gets their own personalized password' The door opened. Usyair entered first the followed by Leong. In the HQ, The walls are littered with graffiti symbolizing revolution. The ceiling is partly rusted. there was a command bridge at the top right corner of the space and a ladder to go down at the top left. Usyair walked to the command bridge, two silhouettes were visible through the tinted glass. Usyair opened the door into the bridge. He motioned Same and Leong to come in.

A fat guy who is chomping on burgers and a thin guy who is working on some hardware is seen, their backs against Same and Leong. 'Fats!!! Skin!!!' Usyair shouted to them. 'What do you want Us?' Skin replied without looking back. 'We got two new memeber, i would like you guys to add them to the database' Both of them turn towards Usyair. 'Yo! i'm Lorgor and this johnny here is Recert' The Fat one said. 'But you can just call us Fats and Skin, were the hackers of the rebellion force' 'Class S hackers!' Added Skin. 'So what are your names?' aske Fats. 'I'm Same and this guy's Leong' 'Okay.' Fats turned to his computer 'Same..... and Leong...' 'C'mon here, we need your palm prints and and retina pattern.' Same and Loeng went to Skin's workplace. 'Place your right palm here.'  Same went first, he was thinking what if Niax were here. 'Don't push on the glass too hard.' Same applied less pressure. 'Alright, and remember, just softly touch the glass so we can get a distinct patter of you palm, or else we just get one solid hand print with no print on it okay?' Same nodded. 'Okay next!' Leong got his palm print with no problem. 'Okay, now come and look into this scope.' Same looked into the scope and sees a picture of a girls ass. After Same got this retina patterns he asked Skin 'Why is there a picture of...' Skin interrupted 'This is to let the person focus their eyes so we can get a clear scan.' 'But what if the person is a girl?' 'I have a very "hot" male model picture' 'Okay'. Leong was disgusted by the picture during the scan. 'Okay now, we need you guys voice activated password.' Fats motioned them to come near to the microphone. 'Speak clearly' 'Justice will prevail.' Leong said his password. 'Nice, next.' Same went a said his password 'Regna is my angel.' 'Okay you're good, now you guys are in the database.' 'Aren't you forgetting something?' said Usyair. 'Oh yeah, the passcode through the first security door is 6628.' 'Alright boys is you would follow me' Usyair went out of the bridge.

They climbed down to the next floor. This floor is filled with two giant robots and heavy artillery. They walked to the command bridge hanging above all the weapons via the hanging platform. Usyair opened the door and inside was a big and dark guy with part of his ripped body showing through the singlet he was wearing with flat top hair. Two girls inside working on computers. 'Tank!' The guy turn around, revealing a scar spanning from his top right of his forehead, over his nose and ends at the bottom left of his face. 'Don't mind the scar, they wanted to confirm i was dead so they did this but heck broke that guys neck.' Leong has chills down his spine. 'There's no need to worry, ima won't bite man, the name's Tair, can just call me Tank.' 'Tank, can you syncro them with the amours?' 'Sure come with me.' They passed by the girls who were working on the computers. 'These girls here are my personal assistants, they don't have names cuz they androids man. They don't just work hard, they provide good service if you get what i mean.' Same nodded. 

Past the two giant robots, there is a small section containing lockers. They went to the two unmarked lockers and opened one of them. There is a baggy suit with a high tech looking monocle on the side. 'Alright this is your amour.' Tank handed the suit to Same, he opened another locker with another suit and monocle inside. He took out the suit and gave it to Leong 'And this is yours' Tank opened a door to another room 'Go change into these.' Same went inside, thinking that the suit was not his size. When he put it on, the suit tightened up. He came out and saw Leong changed too. Both of them laughed at each other, because the suit looked funny on them. 'Okay, lemme explain how this amour works.' Tank cleared his throat. 'This amour you're wearing right now may not seem much but this is actually cutting edge technology that i got from Area 65. This suit can scan another persons clothing and changes you into that, you just gotta press that button on your left wrist and your eye facing your target to scan.' Both of them pressed the button, with ten seconds Leong changed into Tank's clothing while Same changed to Usyair's. 'You see, and now for the amour part. This may not seem much but this is actually made of Trilibalt, a light and stretchable material which can change its form and colour from varying currents. The power source of this suit is magnetic, so its recharging and providing energy at the same time. One more thing about Trilibalt is that it can stop objects moving at high velocity, that means you're practically bulletproof, except your head but it is not stab proof.' 

'And now this lil thing.' Tank passed the monocles to Same and Leong. 'Put it on.' They put on the monocle by hanging on part to the right ear and the glass screen came to life. 'Alright, you can scan people for weapon by just thinking about it, it also doubles as a comm device but you'll need to connect it to your comm device that you'll get later. Its has cloaking functions so you won't stand out as much. And it show your stats and heart rate. to activate each function, just think about it.' They both tried out the functions. 'Okay you guys have had enough, time to go to the residential area, you wanna come Tank?' Usyair asked. 'Nah, i got a date with my androids afterwards.'

Chapter 20 ~ 28th August 2010

'It seems like Masquerade people are chosen randomly.' The guard was unconscious in front of Naix. 'Can't even handle a lady who is handicapped.' She let out a sigh 'Well need to find a way out now.' She looks around in her prison.

They were pacing in the living room the next morning. Annix didn't cook anything for herself because she lost her appetite. 'Damn, now what are we gonna do?' Same was thinking. Everyone was awfully silent today. Yaru was staring at the window.

Someone knocked on the door, Usyair's muffle voice wad heard 'Hey guys! its me!' Leong went to get the door.  'So, what i heard from the info booth is true.' Leong nodded. 'Well i guess i'll take you guys under my wing to carry out the asassination.' 'C'mon in, we'll discuss this in the living room.' Leong showed Usyair to the living room. 'So the emperor has caught wind of our plans?' Asked Usyair. 'Seems like it.' Same said. 'Well he'll most probably have extra security on assasination day.' 'Yeah... so what are we gonna do now?'. 'I'll take you to rebellion HQ tomorrow, you guys can train there and maybe teach some of the folks there some martial arts.' Annix was fast asleep on the couch. 'We'll help you on training the people there, you got weapons.' Usyair chuckled 'I'm a weapon supplier, what you want, you will get.' 'Good'.

'Dear!' Regna ran down the stairs wearing an apron and her under garments. 'Cheer up! Niax is a soldier! she'll hold out' Usyair took out his comm device with a camera and took a few pictures of Regna. 'Dude? don't you have a wife?'  'Well boy, if you have a wife like mine, you'll me like me.' 'What did you say Ussy?' Usyair dared not look behind him. 'Oh seems like i forgot to lock the door.' Leong was saying. 'Owwww' Phea was pulling her husband's ear and took his comm device away. 'You guys have fun!' She gave a cheerful smile. 'See you guys tomorow!' Then she walked out of the door with Usyair.

Chapter 19 ~ 21 August 2010

They were all standing outside a family restaurant called "The Family Restaurant". 'The name is a lil straightforward i can tell you that' Naix was saying while looking at the sign. 'Well lets go in' Everyone walked into the restaurant. Its was moderately crowded. and everyone was given clear glass panels. Same, Leong and Leixs was lost. 'Just press this button' Annix pointed to a little button on the corner of the glass panel. Leong pressed it and the glass panel lighted up with a cover writing "Menu". 'Its a touchscreen you flick it to the left and you can see the next page.' Same did it and its slided to another page with food items. 'And you can order by just tapping on the thing you want and writing the quantity, you can also specify what you want like you want more of this or less of that.' Lexis tapped on one of the food, and activated a pop up. 'Bet you don't have these in the past' 'Yeah...' Same agreed 'But... the maid cafe doesn't have this kind of menus?' 'Oh that, its because they want to keep it classic, these touch-menus are standard issue for all eateries'

They finish eating after an hour. 'Daaamn i'm sutffed.' Lexis was grabbing his stomach. Then someone slammed the restaurant door. It was three men in Tuxedos and they're wearing masks with different facial expressions. 'They look like they're from the circus.' Lexis said. Annix shushed Lexis but she was too late, Lexis was stunned by stun guns the men were carrying. 'Its there a Niax here' A mechanical voice came from on of the guys. 'Yeah, what do you want?' Naix walked up to them, she had to look up to them because they were tall. 'You are under arrest for treason agaist the emperor' Everyone in the restaurant gasped. 'Where's the proof? you guys have a warrant?' One of the guys pulled out a paper which is the warrant for Niax's capture. 'You can ask questions later, now you come with us' Niax went with them without looking back. Niax went to remove the pins embedded in Lexis's chest. 'I COULDN'T BREATHE FOR A MOMENT!!!' 'Of course you were stunned, which stopped all activity of your body.' 'Who were those people?' Leong asked. 'They're the Maquerade, they're like the secret service for the emperor' said Yaru. Everyone in the restaurant went back to what they were doing.

'Naix!!!' Annix was crying in the living room. 'Don't worry, we'll find a way to rescue her next week' Same said. 'But now our mastermind and traner is gone'  Leong said. Reality hit hard on them as they helpless right now.

Niax was in a room. Stripped of every clothing on her back for security measure and was given only a piece of cloth to cover herself. She was all alone, in a dull room with four walls and a door, nothing else. Suddenly the door opened. Its was a hooded figure. 'I didn't know the emperor was interested in raping handicapped women' The hooded figure laughed. 'No, I'm here to squeeze..'  Naix interuppted 'Oh so sorry, i'm not lactating.' The hooded figure was annoyed. 'As i was saying, i want all information from out about the rebillion force' 'I don't know much about them, i was going to know where their base is, but you arrested me too early for me to know.' The emperor gave her a punch to the nose 'Do whatever you want with her' And he left. The guard immediaty closed the door and threw himself towards the naked Niax.

Chapter 18

'Owww' Regna was grabbing her stomach. 'Where does it hurt dear?' Same was helping her to walk to a chair. Annix was walking into the room. 'Lemme take a look.' Same gives way for Annix, within the second Regna vommited on the floor. Same was getting very worried. Annix took her temperature with her hand and held her stomach and getting her heartbeat from her neck. Annix was suprised, Same was shaking his head 'We wore protection gad dammit'. Annix motion's Same to come closer and going to whisper to his ear. Same felt Annix hard bite on his ear. 'Dude! what are you doing?' Annix was laughing, 'Its just some food poisoning, nothing that i can't take care of.' Same let out the sigh of relief 'Thank god its not a baby.'

Everyone was watching television after the dinner. Suddenly everyone heard a thump. It was from upstairs. 'You guys keep watching, i'll go check' Annix left the living room. 'YARU!!!' Everyone ran up to Annix's room to see whats happening, they saw Annix helping Yaru to the bed. 'Yaru woke up?' Naix asked 'Ya, she lost balace while walking and dropped to the floor.' 'Leong, bring a glass of water' Annix ordered. Leong ran down to get some water. 'Can you speak Yaru?' Niax asked. 'Uhhh... yeah...' 'Can you remember anything?' 'Here's the water!' Leong ran up with a cup of water. Annix took it a fed it to Yaru. 'Well i remember i was sweeping the floor that day, then nothing else' 'Hmm that must be the time when the bug infiltrated Yaru' 'What!? a bug??' 'Yeah, the emperor has sent a bug to infiltrate anyone in the house, i guess the bug chose you.' 'Okay, so what happened during that time?' everyone was silent, then they were staring at Same. 'What? i was restrained' Leong broke the awkward silence. 'You better take a rest since you are not feeling well.' Same gave Leong a thumbs up.


The next day, everyone stayed at home to rest becuase of the heavy rain. 'I'm so booooored right now!!!' Same is rolling restlessly on the floor. 'You're not the only one, plus i'm bored everyday' said Lexis. 'Nobody cares!' Same shot back. Annix is sitting on the couch thinking of something. Naix who is lying on the three person couch asked 'Yo annix, what are you doin??' 'Thinking of a game for us to play' 'Aren't you too old for games?' 'You can never be too old for games, so lemme see' Then something struck her 'What about truth or dare? I was popular back in my day.' Niax groaned 'That again?' 'Hey you used to be very enthusiastic about that game.' That was last time okay.' 'Yeah yeah, so who's in?' Everyone nodded.

Annix returned from the kitchen with an empty bottle. 'Okay!!! who want to go first?' Lexis raised his hands, Annix gave him the bottle and he spins it. The bottle pointed at Leong. 'Truth.' Everyone was thinking of a good question. After a discussion, Niax asked Loeng 'You have someone you love besides your family?' 'Yes.' 'Who?' 'Her name is Patsy, my pet dog' 'Oh what a let down' Annix said. Leong spins that bottle and it landed on Annix. 'Hmmm, i choose truth' Yaru immediatly shot out 'Have you slept with other guys other than dad?' Annix is hit hsard with the question that her daughter asked. 'Hehe, dear can you ask anything else that this?' 'NO!' 'Okay...' She hesitated for a while, then she spoke 'No! hahaha' 'Then why are you so good in your skills?' Yaru asked. 'My My... hard to believe that your his daughter' Annix moved closer. 'Let just say me and your dad... likes to study anatomy' Yaru nodded. Annix went back to her place and spins the bottle, this time it landed on Lexis. 'Ummmm, dare' 'Finally! a dare!' Shouted Same. Everyone huddled up. 'Okay, after that discussion. we have came to the decision of daring you to do... bang you head to the wall really hard' Lexis immediatly stood up and banged his head to the wall really hard and came back, 'Didn't that hurt?' 'Yeah, but you guys dared me, so i did' Lexis grabbed the bottle and spins it. 'I guess its a dare' said Leong. 'Take a picture of yourself!' Same said. 'Gimme a camera' Same was suprised because Leong didn't like his photo taken. Annix handed him her camera, leong took it quickly and took a picture and then swiftly deleted the picture. 'Figures.' said Same. The bottle now pointed at Same himself. 'Truth' This time its was Annix who asked 'How many times have you did it to Regna?' 'What?' You you know what i'm sayin' Her expression was of a chesire cat. '2 times' Regna blushed. The next victim was Yaru. 'Tell me.' Annix was asking again. 'You have a boyfriend that i should know about?' 'Erm....'

Hours have passed as they played truth or dare. The rain had stopped and its dinner time. 'I was having so much fun that i forgot to cook!' Annix said. 'Well let go to the shopping district to get some grub' said Niax 'Okay, i'll go get dressed'.

Chapter 17

Everyone was sitting on their own seat in the maid cafe. 'So when's best for the assasination Usyair?' Niax was asking while sipping on her drink. 'Hmmm...' Usyair is feedin the strawberry parfait to his wife. 'I know!' everyone was startled. 'The next week is the Aniversary of the formation of the empire!, the emperor will be giving a speech at the town square.' Niax was deep in thought. 'You have any experinced snipers in your rebellion team?' 'Hmmm, we have the twins and skinny' 'Are they good?' 'Well the twins are the shotter and spotter, skinny is communication. They were train in the military and they survived the war.' He put on a wide grin on his face 'That good enough?' 'Don't get cocky, you must learn and honour the Murphy's Law' Usyair nodded. Murphy's Law can me summarized into one short sentence 'Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong' stated by Edward Aloysius Murphy, Jr. An American aerospace engineer who works on safety-critical systems. 'We need a fail safe, if the emperor used a body double...' 'I'll arrange a recon squadron and an assault squardron' 'Don't forget, we at least need two groups of snipers' 'I'll get the twins to train for some experinced assult members.' Naix nodded. After Usyair finished his strawberry parfait 'Let's talk about something else, we ARE in a cafe.' 'Yeah good idea' Same agreed.


'How do you lose your arm anyway?' Usyair is curious. 'Well, there was an air raid in the outer ring. The emperor luckily didn't use anti-matter warheads, instead he used high explosives. Then a stray concrete bock flys towards me at hight velocity and BAM!' She took a sip from her drink. 'I was unconcious. Then lil Same here saw me and Leong helped to lift the freaking concrete block off of me and boom! My right arm is gone' 'You guys been through alot' Phea said. 'You all heard of the prophecy of the fall of the emperor?' Asked Naix. 'Yeah, the poor oracle predicted that two boys from the past will come forth to overthrow the emperor. She got executed for it, poor thing'. 'These these two are from the past, they were whisked here by a jewel kept by their HM'. 'HM?' Usyair and Phea said in unsion. 'Oh yeah, they are students. HM stands for Headmaster' 'Oh, so Niax... you think they're gonna fufill the prophecy?' Niax took a deep breath. 'Yeah, I started training them since their arrival.' Usyair reached his hands to Leong and then Same 'Welcome to the Rebellion boys! So what are you boys good at?'. 'Gunslinging and knife combat' said Same. 'Assult and staff combat' continued Leong. 'Its a good thing you guy know melee, half of our men don't even know what they're good at, they're just joining 'cause they hate the emperor' Niax smiled 'If you allow, i want to train them in the basics melee combat and how to fire a gun 101' Usyair is overjoyed 'That would be great!, its time for those slackers to do something for the rebellion!'

Chapter 16

'CUUUUTE!!!!' Regna was looking at a dress. She picked it up and propped it on her body 'does this look good on me?' 'Anything you wear looks good.' 'Really? there's gotta be one that looks better.' Same scrathed his head. 'Maybe i'll wait here, and you browse untill you fin one that i may like, okay?' 'Okay dear...' The couple went into the shop. The shop is like a forest, not filled with trees but with loads and loads of clothing. T-shirts, blouses, dresses, trousers, underwear, lingerie, shorts. You name it, they have it. Then, like a montage from some award winning movie, Regna was trying on alot of dresses for Same's verdict.


The owner of the arms shop is bored. He decided to watch some porn on his media player considering that his wife went out to get them some food. The chime that signals the shop door rang, he quickly hid away his media player and went back to the counter. 'Welcome!' He was staring at the beautiful girl who seems to be missing an arm and he looked at the guy who was accompaying her. 'Not up to anything sneaky?' the lady asked. 'Do i know you?' the lady raised an eyebrow. 'Usyair, caught stalking me when he was 17' The sudden reavelation socked the weapons seller. 'Naix?? THE Niax?' 'In the flesh' The guy went out of the counter and greeted Niax. 'Long time no see Niax! Who's this kid? doesn't look like Lingard to me.' 'This here lad is Leong, my apperintice. Lingard is long gone after the war.' 'Where's your arm?' 'Accident, enough small talk. You got a secure area where we can talk?' Usyair grinned 'How secure?' 'So secure that even the ants can't hear.' Usyair opened the door to the back of the counter, he motioned them to follow. After the counter, they were led to an underground bunk.

'How's this one?' Regna was wearing a scarlet red bareback sleeveless dress. Same immediatly shot up and clapped his hands 'Thats the one that stands out of all the others'. Regna was blushing 'Clerk, i want this one.' 'Certainly miss.' the clerk took the dress to the counter. Same walked up to Regna and whispered 'You don't want any lingerie to go with that?' Regna kissed Same on the cheek 'I'll choose the naughtest one that i can find.' She walked to the lingerie section, Same followed but was stopped by Regna. 'This is a suprise... Wait outside, it won't take long.'

'Wow! i'm impressed! you went from perv to pro!' Niax complimented Usyair. 'Well were have a few more branches in other districts. So you were planning on an assasination on the Emperor?' Niax nodded. 'Don't worry, the rebellion will back you up all the way.' The bunk door suddenly opened. 'USSY!!!' a middle aged woman is shouting at Usyair. 'WHY I FOUND SOMETHING THAT DOES NOT AMUSE ME ON YOUR MEDIA PLAYER!!??' Usyair is in hot soup now. 'I can explain dearie...' the woman then looked at Niax. 'YOU'RE EVEN CHEATING ON ME RIGHT NOW??!!' Usyair had a troubled expression on his face. 'Missus, if you would accept my apology of coming here uninvi...' Naix was interupted. 'APOLOGY MY ASS!!!' Leong couldn't hold down any longer. 'MISSUS, COULD YOU SHUT UP AND LET US EXPLAIN!!!' The woman immediatly quiet down. 'Thank you Leong. As i were saying, I'm Usyair's Highschool friend. I'm sorry for being here unannounced. I'm here about the rebellion.' 'Oh i see... Sorry for shouting at you just now' 'Never mind that...' Usyair let out a sigh of relief 'Let me introduce my wife, Phea. Phea this is Niax and Leong.' 'Nice to meet you guys, i'll be upstairs' Phea closed the bunk door and went off. 'Ok back to where we at, i need guns and melees.' Usyair laughed 'We have so much of those that i can supply the whole imperial army with some to spare.' 'Good, would you like to join us for tea at 5?' 'Where' 'Some Cafe with maids' 'Okay, that you have to go through Phea.' 'I understand'. Usyair showed them to the back of the counter. Niax discussed something with Phea. In the end Phea agreed. Phea was walking forward and pulled Usyair's ear. 'Back to where i was...' She held up Usyair's media player with a paused video of a naked girl riding on a guy 'What's this Ussy?' Niax quicly left the shop.

Regna and Same were standing infront of a love hotel. 'You sure about this dear?' Same was unsecure. 'I'll be fine!' She dragged Same into the hotel.

A few hours later, it was almost 5. Niax just reached the Cafe with Leong, Usyair and Phea. 'Welcome home masters!' The maids were welcoming them. Usyair is staring at the maid with the big boobs. Phea pulled Usyair by the ear, the maids giggled. After 15 minutes, Same and Regna showed up. Usyair was staring at Regna. Phea pulled his ear again. 'If you keep pulling, my ear's gonna fall off!' 'If you stop looking at pretty girls then i won't do it stupid!' Same and Regna sat down. 'Where have you two been?' Niax was questioning them. 'The uuuh...' Regna whispered to Naix. 'I see...'

Chapter 15

Leong woke up before everyone in the room. The 1st thing he saw was the one-piece pyjammas that Regna wore yesterday. He looked the Same's bed and saw the two love birds curled up in their blanket. He saw Regna was wearing another shirt, he stood up picked out his own clothes and went to the bathroom. At the moment, Naix was in Annix room. Annix is picking out a dress for Niax. 'What colours do you like Niax?' Niax was thinking, then she made a decision 'I want to wear black today' Annix opened her wardrobe 'Hmmmm black huh?' She browses through her own colourful dresses. 'Black... black... black...' She stopped 'Sorry no black, any other colours?' 'Dark colours please' Annix nodded and started to browsing through her collection of clothes. She put out all her dresses. Dark red, purple, dark blue and dark green, all of them sleeveless. 'Anything with sleeves? 'cause y'know' she motioned to her missing right arm. 'Hmmmm, you want anything that can go with those dresses? like long sleeve jackets or vests.' 'Yup can do.' Annix continues her quest to find the perfect dress for Naix.


Leong wore a black short sleeve shirt with jeans. 'Wow, lookin good..,' Same was complimenting Leong. 'Not interested in fashion anyway, simplest always looks best' 'I agree!' Same gave a thumbs up. 'Dear!!! Breakfast is ready!!!' Regna was shouting from downstairs. 'Lets get some grub Leong' Both of them went down to the dinning room. Lexis was already sitting there, looking lonely and very pitiful. 'LEONG!' Leong was startled by Niax's shouting. 'Its still morning Niax... no need to shout' Same was staring at Niax. 'The sweets shop in the middle of the district!' Same suggested. 'Be more specific Same.' 'You can't miss it! its the only sweet shop in the whole district that has maids in there!' 'The gracious emperor has ordered the governors of all the areas to erect his statue. He added that if the Enquisitors checked the statue was under budgeted and made of cheap materials, the governor's spouses ise going to be executed, if the governors have no spouses, any one of his or her immediate family will be executed. Now the regional news...' 'I hate dictators like the emperor, they don't develop, only torture' Same nodded at Leong's statement. Same felt someone massaging his shoulders 'So how was traning dear?' Same was thinking back to the present when he's chatting so merrily with his own family.

'What!?' Naix was asking Regna, 'you sure about this?' Regna nodded 'I want to stay with my dear as much as i can' 'But there are other guys in his room?' Regna smiled at Niax 'Don't worry, i did an observation. Leong, he's not interested in this romance stuff. Lexis, he's too chicken to do anything' Naix nodded 'You do have a point there...' Same was holding two rattan sticks, it seems like Naix has signed Same to Eskrima training. Eskrima is a Philipino martial art. Eskrima fighthing styles were usually using sticks and knifes, perfect for Same as he chose a knife. Eskrima is the art of trapping and breaking limbs, their main focus is to imagine that the weapons in your hands are just the extention to your limbs. Its seems like the martial art did not extict after the war. Same was learning the basic maneuvers and stances of the martial art. The master till hit the part of his limbs which is not in line. Same was enduring the hellish training of Eskrima. He is not allowed to attack because it was not sparring. Its was a cram course, so the traning is much harder than normal. Leong on the other hand was signed into a Silambam cram course. Slilambam on the other hand is a Dravidian Martial Art, originated from South India. Silambam refers to the bamboo staff that is used as a main weapon in the martial art. The teacher now is teaching Leong the basic footwork that is needed to master before learning spinning techniques and patterns.

Same was now learning how to attack and defend at the same time. Leong now has got the hang of the footwork, his master is not demostrating what he's gonna learn next. Leong's jaw dropped when he sees his master spinning the stick and using the footwork Amazingly, the stick didn't hit him. The master taught him the basics of spining the staff. Leong got the hang of it but when they combined it with the footwork. The staff hit Leong everywhere. Naix was looking at them from a room. She was laughing while doing curls.

It hit the master. His master stopped attacking him 'It seems like i have underestimated you, your cram course is complete. Rememeber be fexible, feel free to add in something, martial artx is alive, always remember that' Same bowed to his master, he held for 5 seconds before he stopped bowing and left the room.

Leong was defending himself from his master. As if in a trance, His master is hitting him violently and shouting like a insane man. Leong's mind stayed calm, trying to look for an opening for him to strike. Suddenly, Leong's right waist was hit and got swinged to his right. He quickly recovered, his master was jumping up and swinging his bamboo stick at high velocity, and it was apporaching Leong's head. In a quick manuever, Leong sidestpped away from the strike and put his staff out to intercept the masters strike. The second both staffs touch, the powerful force that was in the master's staff transferred into Leong's staff. Leong directed the force to the master's head by swinging the end of the staff that is behind him to his master's back. The end of Leong's staff was swinging towards the master's back and boom! His master was on the ground. 'Thats how hard i hit? good thing you dodged or you could be in a coma. Good work on redirecting the force of my blow.' His master stood up and patted his shoulders 'Well, this is the end of your cram course' 'Thanks for you teachings master' 'okay,and remember. Be flexible, martial arts is alive, a true martial artist cannot write his skill in book, it can only be expressed through your body.' Leong nodded and went out of the room.

'Seems like you guys are badly beaten up eh?' Naix put down her weights. Leong and Same were resting on a bench. 'C'mon lets go back. we have a meal waiting for us'

Everyone was sitting inside the guest room. Yaru was unconcious on Same's bed. 'How the hell did the emperor know about this?' asked Niax. Then Niax cleared her throat and thanked Leong 'Unless he sent some recon and saw no bodies in the target area' Everyone in the room nodded. 'But how do they know where we are??' Same looked confused. 'You just follow the signs then you'll reach the shoppping district, you can come out now' Footsteps was heard from upstairs, then Same's jaw dropped. 'So you wanna eat something Regna?' 'Yeah' 'Lets try that shop over there' It was a cafe. 'Welcome home masters!' two waitresses dressed in maid outfits was greeting Same and Regna. 'Wow! we don't have these kind of cafe's back home!' said Same. One of the miads showed them to their table and gave each of them a menu. 'Same, why not we try this?' Regna pointed to a parfait named 'Cupid's parfait'. Its 3 scoops of strawberry ice-cream, some crushed nuts, chocolate syrup, some diced bananas and a few cherries. 'One of these please.' 'Of course my master'. Regna is looking at Same while he's staring at the maids. 'You like maid outfits Same?' 'Yeah, i have a few comic series about maids and Japanese culture' 'Japanese?' 'Oh yea i forgot, i'm in the future' Same smacked himself in the head. 'After this, we'll walk around and see if there's any clothing that resemble's traditional Japanese dresses' 'Okay Same, so how was it in the past?' 'Well, its quite peaceful. There's just school to deal with, there's some very asshole'ish teachers but there are a few good ones too.' 'So what are your hobbies?' 'Well, i like to cycle y'know? and surf the web, chatting with friends, hanging out with friends. I also do dancing, but i'm not that good at it. Oh yeah, i love reading comics and novels!' 'Wow, you do alot of...' 'Here's your Cupids parfait masters, enjoy your desserts' the maid interrupted. 'Well lets dig in!' Same took the first bite. 'Mmmm mmm delicious!' Regna took a bite and nodded in agreement. They ate untill there were only two cherries left. Same picked up a cherry 'Open wide Regna' Same fed Regna the cherry and Regna did the same. 'Hey Same, i heard from my friends that if you can tie a knot on the chrry stem with your tongue, it means that you're a good kisser' Regna ate the stem and started to tie a knot. Same put the stem in his mouth and started to tie a knot. Same had a hard time doing it as the stem kept going back into its original shape. 'Done!' Regna took out the Stem and showed Same. Same took out his stem and it was broken. 'Haha! i'm a better kisser than you!' 'Then can you teach me?' 'Well i never kissed someone before and i'm shy' 'Well i won't pressure you. Bill please!'.

They were back on the street. Now they were looking for clothing boutiques. 'Look there's a Yukata worn by the girls in Japan during summer' Same pointed at the Yukata. It was a shorter version of the Kimono. They walked into the store. 'Do you have a red colour for that Yukata?' Regna asked the shoptender. 'Sure we do, please wait a moment'. Same looked at Regna 'You wanna buy it?' 'Yeah, it looks cute and.. and you said you like Japanese culture right?' 'You're doing it for me?' '..... Yeah...' Same's heart was beating so fast that he thought Regna might hear it. 'here you go miss, would you come this way please' Regna went with the shoptender to the fitting room. After a minute, Regna came out. Same felt like he was hit by a sledge hammer. 'How... how do i look' 'The.. the Yukata matches your eyes' 'Ok then I'll have this!'. 'You wanna keep wearing it miss?' 'Yeah! can you please pack up my clothes?' 'Sure miss'. Same paid the money went out of the store. Maybe is because of Regna's dress, everyone on the street stared at her. Regna hugged Same arm 'Thanks Same, for the Yukata' 'No.. No problem'



Still, strolling on the never ending street. They saw a thug pass by, the thug pulled Regna away from Same. 'Hey, wanna spend sometime with me?' Regna struggled to loosen the thug's hand but her effort was futile. 'Hey dude, back off from my girl!' 'Your girl huh?' Same's vision went white for a few seconds and then he saw himself looking up at the thug then a shoe to his stomach. The thug kept kicking Same in the stomach, Regna was beggin the thug to stop but he didn't. A crowd was gathering around to see the show. 'Ahhhh! you fuckin asshole!' the thug dropped down and stinging pain came from his right foot, he looked at the foot that was not there, instead his right foot was one feet away from Same's stomach. Regna helped Same up, he was holding his anti-matter bladed knife he pulled from his jacket. He limped to the thug and held the knife to his throat 'I want you to crawl back to the cave you came from if you don't wanna die...' the thug was crawling away from Same. 'Are you ok Same?' 'Yeah, its just a bruis...' his sentence was interuptted by the urge to vomit. 'Lets go to the bench over there'. The crowd dissapated quicky, the severed foot was still on the street. Same is panting very hard, 'I'm so sorry Same' 'its not your fault, i should not have hesitated to pull out the knife in the beggining' 'Thank you Same' Regna bursted into tears. 'There there Regna...' Same lent his shoulder for her.



Same was feeling well after some rest on the bench, it was sunset. 'Regna.. Regna..' Regna was asleep on Same's lap. Same enjoyed the scene of the sunset. The foot is still on the street, the blood has dried and became a brownish red. 'Regna... its time to wake up' Regna was waking up 'uhhh.. what time is it?' 'I don't have a watch but i can tell you its sunset' Regna stared at the orange fireball 'its really beautiful' 'Yeah, like you Regna' Regna looked at Same, their eyes are locked in a never ending stare. Then both of them closed their eyes and moved closer to each other's lips. Their teeth clashed into each other 'Owww! Same that hurt!' 'So sorry! its my first time' 'Nevermind that, let redo it.' They close in again, Regna tilted her head and two lips touched. Same felt the warm heat from Regna's lip transferring to his own, Same hand acted on instict and jerked lightly at Regna's hair. Regna pulled back 'You know what Same?' 'What?' 'I love you...' 'Me too Regna, me too'.



'We're back!' Same was holding Regna's shoulder. 'Ohhhh i guess Niax was right' Annix noticed the dirt on Sams's shirt. 'What happened?' she pointed at the shirt. 'I got hit' 'Oh my god by who?' 'A thug' 'You go and take a shower fast and ima gonna treat you now quickly!' Same ran up to the bathroom. 'That boy he forgot his towel, i see you had a fun day' Regna nodded. 'Why not you pass him his towel?' Regna went to get Same's towel. Regna knocked on the bathroom door. 'Yeah what?' 'Its me' 'Oh Regna, what do you want?' 'can i help you scrub your back?' 'sure come in'. Regna opened the door and saw Same hiding behind the curtain 'Damn! i forgot to brign my towel!' 'I got it right here' She passed it to Same, Same tied it around his waist and came out. Regna was shocked to see so many bruises on Same. Same sat on a small chair, Regna took a small chair and sat behind Same. The bruises from the air raid was still visible. 'don't scrub it so hard, it stings' Regna was crying. 'Why are you crying again?' 'You always get injured when protecting me, it make me feel so.. ' Same interrupted 'Its not like i was forced to protect you, i did it because i love you' Regna didn't say anything, she was sobbing and scrubbing Same's back.



'Becareful next time okay Same?' 'Yeah i will, well i'm going to bed' 'G'night Same!' 'Nights'. Same went to Regna's room. Yaru was on her bed while Regna was on a matress on the floor. Same went and kissed Regna's forehead and left the room. Yaru witnessed the whole scene and bit her sleeve.

Chapter 9

'The payloads are all droppped sire' The hooded figure doesn't reply, he sat on his throne sipping his wine cup.

Naix was lying on a pool of her own blood. 'Leong pick me up and go west from here untill you see a 50 foot high granite wall' Leong picked her up into his arms and everyone started walking to the east. 'Is it painful Miss Niax?' 'Its fine Regna'. They have been walking for 10 minutes, Niax's wound stopped bleeding. They passed one neighbourhood after another. 'Same, can you carry her? my arms are sore' Same nodded and went to carry Niax. She was asleep, its was probably the only way that she could ignore the scrching pain coming from her would. Same looked at Niax sleeping face and thought 'Can't belive that someone who has so much suvival experience would look so beautiful'.

A large grey wall meterialized infront of them. Same shook his arms 'Hey Niax, wake up' Niax was slowing waking up from her slumber. 'Uhh.. we're here already? ok now you guys need to walk along this wall untill you find a gate' 'Can you walk Niax?' 'I think so' Same lowered her feet first. Niax stood firmly, her bloodstained tank top glowed in the afternoon sun. 'what are you guys looking at?? lets go!'. They walked for hours and still no gate. Regna was not the athletic type, Same saw her panting and offered help to carry her, but she denied. Same leaved her be and they kept walking.

The scorching afternoon sun soon became a big orange sun slowly creeping back into the horizon. Lexis complained 'how long are we gonna keep walking??' something in Niax snapped 'SHUT YOUR FREAKING HOLE UP! YOU THINK I DON'T WANT TO SIT DOWN AND HAVE A REST? THERES 15000 PEOPLE LIVING IN THE INNER RING, DO THE MATH! LARGE POPULATION EQUALS TO LARGER CITY WHICH COMES TO LONGER CIRCUMFERENCE OF A FREAKING GRANITE WALL! I HAD MY ARM SEVERED AND I DON'T SEE ME COPMPLAINING?' Lexis was silent, used to Niax shouting so he decided not to complain anymore. The silver crecent moon shone above them. Then, they saw it, a 50 foot high reinforced steel gate. 'Ok we're here, now lets see where i buried that comm device' Niax looked around infront of the gate. 'Everyone look for some tree nearby, i buried it under a tree that is marked by a carving' 'What carving?' asked Leong. 'There's just one tree with a carving here so its not hard to find. The five went around the trees nearby and looked for any carvings.

'Its here boys!' Niax waved the boys over. they all gathered around the tree. Same saw the carving, it was very faint but its still visible "L+N Forever". 'Now you guys dig around this tree untill you guys find a walkie-talkie, i'm gonna rest, come Regna let go sit and watch these boys suffer' Lexis gave a reluctant look and went digging with the rest. Under a nearby tree they sat. 'I saw the carving Miss Naix' 'Funny huh?' 'No, not really, i think its kind of romantic' 'Yeah, this place used to be a park where me and Lingard used to hangout, its near our old houses, but now it all barren and deserted' 'Oh, so how did Lingard treated you?' 'Oh he's the usual nice guy. Always there to help.' 'Oh, i see'. 'I found the walkie-takie Niax!' Lexis raised his hand holding the walkie-talkie. 'Well lets get to work Regna.' Niax took the walkie-talkie and started shaking it. 'Its dynamo powered so yea, it needs recharging.' After a minute of shaking, the LCD screen of the walkie-talkie lit, showing the channel its in now. Niax turned the channel knob to a specific channel, pressed the button and spoke 'Pretty woman you read?' there was silence. 'Pretty woman you read?' then the walkie-talkie let out a distinct scratching sound and a voice materialized 'Is that you Desperate girl?' Everyone tried to hold back their laughter 'Its me Pretty woman, can you open the gate to the inner ring?' 'At this hour? yeah i think i can do that, wait there for 30 minutes i'll be right out' 'Roger Pretty woman'

'Why the weird code names?' asked Lexis. 'That person over the walkie talkie is a childhood friend of mine' 'ahhh i see'. After just 15 minutes the steel door roared and moved very, very slowly. 'Wow, thats fast!' Said Lexis 'I guess she misses me alot.' The gate opened enough to fit one person, a shadow appeared. 'Niax!' The shadow ran towards Niax and hugged her. 'Nice to see that you're fine Annix' 'Oh i miss you soo much Niax!' Then the girl jumped back 2 feet and screamed. 'Where's your right arm Niax? what happened' 'Long story, you think you can give us shelter for a few days?' 'Oh of course! you don't even need to ask, who are these nice people?' 'They're my convoy, we're gonna assasinate the emperor.' 'Ahh okays come this way everyone' They went through the gate one by one, at the other side, it was a metropolis. Casinos, restaurants, convenient stores. It looked like home to Same, Leong and Lexis. 'Everyone please wear this cloak' Annix passed a cloak to everyone. Annix pressed the buttons infront of the gate and it closed. 'Everyone follow me, stay low and don't make a sound' Everyone walked with annix in their cloaks.

Half an hour has gone and they are in a neighbourhood now. Annix walked to a house and knocked on the door 'Open the door, its mommy' then the person who opened the door looked the same age as Annix. 'Quick everyone get in'.

Everyone was sitting in a circle in the living room. 'Mom, Who are these people?' Same looked at Annix's daughter, she had two pigtails with some pink highlights on her hair, She wore a T-shirt that goes all the way to her knees, probably her pyjammas, she had hazel eyes. 'Oh this this auntie Niax you remember? when you were in grade school?' 'I forgot mom' 'okays, Niax would you introduce these people to us?' 'Sure, this here is Leong, Lexis, Same and Regna' 'And this here is my daughter Yaru' Yaru bowed. 'So let get you guys ready for sleep, Yaru can you borrow some of your clothing to Regna?' 'Sure mom' 'and you boys can just go to the cupboard over there take take what ever clothes you want' 'Huh? you have guys clothes?' asked Same. 'Yeah they were my late husband's' Then an awkward pause went throught the room and Niax interupted 'okays you guys get some rest'

'So we have 1 guest room so the boys can sleep there while Regna sleeps with Yaru and Niax is with me, any objections?' Everyone shook their head 'Okay now good night everyone'

Chapter 8

At the crack of dawn, Naix rose from her bed. She scanned the room then let out a slight laugh then walked out to take a bath. After her bath she went down to make herself some bread with peanut butter.


'Uhhh... What the?!' Same woke up startled because Regna was hugging him at his waist. She held on for the whole night. Same tried to loosen her grip but his effort was useless, she clinged onto him like a sloth to a tree branch. He thought 'i guess i'll just wait untill she wakes up.' Same propped himself up on the wall with Regna still clinging onto him. 'You know what...' Same reached his hand out and combed her hair to her ear, revealing her sleeping face. 'You're really cute when asleep...'. Then Leong woke up and saw Same, Same put his index finger on his lips, telling Leong to be quiet and pointed at Regna then put his hands together and moved then to the side of his face. Leong nodded and gave him a thumbs up followed by a smile. Leong left the room. After a while, Lexis woke up and saw Same and Regna. 'WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING!!??', Regna is slowly regaining conciousness. Same gave him the five finger point 'Idiot! not so loud!'. Regna lifted her head and looked at Same 'Oh... good morning!' then Regna noticed the position of her hands and she quickly removed them from Same's waist. 'I'm.... I'm sorry!' 'So how was my stomach?' Regna blushed 'The... the best I had in years' Same smiled at her. 'so you wanna use the washroom first?' Lexis interupted 'I'm going in first!' he ran to the washroom and slammed the door hard. 'DON'T SLAM THE FREAKING DOOR!!!' shouted Niax.

'3 hours till launch sire' The hooded figure smiled, revealing his stained teeth 'good...'

Everyone was now at the table eating peanut butter bread. 'Eat up boys! i'm going to train you hard today' 'Throw everything at us Niax! We can take it!' said Leong confidently. Same nodded in agreement. 'Same.. after your training i'll cook up a bowl of piping hot noodles okay?' 'aww i have training too, don't i get any?' pouted Leong 'sure you do!' 'what about me?' asked Lexis. 'YOU SHUT UP!! YOU ALMOST KILLED SAME AND MISS NAIX! IF YOU WANT IT COOK IT YOURSELF!' Everyone in the room stared at Regna. 'Whoopsie!' Regna covered her mouth 'i didn't mean that' but this did not change the dejected expression on Lexis's face. 'Leave him be he'll get over it' 'okay, whatever you say'.

'You gotta be more technical! move around! get yourself revved up! get maaad!' Niax was in a traning knife fight with Same while Leong is training in his marksmanship. 'Yo momma is sooo fat! when she swims in the ocean, the whales sings 'we are family!'' Niax plan backfired, she tried to make Same mad but instead Same laughed. 'An opening' Niax dashed to Same's back and tried to stab him. She was gonna reach Same's spine then Same dashed to her back and had his anti-matter bladed knife at her throat. 'Haha, its seems like i have nothing more to teach, well moving on, Leong!' Leong stoped shooting and took his electric staff with him. Same was approaching him and they hi-fived each other. Same unclipped his holsters and took out his pistols and proceeded to the shooting range. "Alright Leong i'm not gonna hold back, neither should you' Leong nodded and turned on his electric staff. 'Ladies first.' 'My pleasure!'.

'One more hour sire' The general was mashing the buttons on his computer.

'Its the end of the line for you Niax' Leong had his DM rifle at Niax's head. 'Wow nice Utilizing your gun in melee combat well done!' Niax dropped her wooden staff and clapped for Leong. 'Thanks to you Naix' Leong turned off his electric staff. 'I'm going up to get some fresh air guys' Niax went up to the stairs.

'Are they done Miss Niax?' 'Yeah go cook your noodles, they need some.' 'would you like some too Miss Niax?' 'Please and thank you!' Niax went out of the house and she looked at the sky 'i guess we can start the assasination early' she thought. She went back to he house.

'Oh i smell noodles!' Same said while walking down the stairs with Leong. 'Its almost ready dear!' Regna closed her mouth 'Oh my god i didn't mean to...' 'Its okay Regna' Same smiled at Regna. Leong elbowed Same lightly 'You dog.' Niax looked at them and called them over. 'Sit down boys, i have something to discuss.' Same and Leong took their seats opposite of Niax, Leong sat one chair away from Same because he know Regna would sit beside him. 'you remember the conversation i had with Dingo?' they both nodded. 'Remember i told you that you guys are the chosen ones?' Again they nodded. 'according to the prophecy by the mystic i knew a long time ago, she said that people in the past will get whisked here to get rid of the emperor.' Regna was pouring out the noodles. 'this rumour got to the ears of the emeperor and the mystic got executed, now i believe she was telling the truth, now you guys are combat ready so starting tomorow, we're going to the inner ring' Same and Leong looked confused. 'oh yeah, i haven't explain to you about the innering and outer ring. The place were at now is the outer ring, there's no goverment here, just destroyed houses, sometimes the emperor will send sweepers to the outer ring to search and destroy strays.' Regna was serving noodle to everyone except Lexis who was in the bedroom. 'i have a few contacts in the inner ring that can help us, so you guys in?' Same and Leong nodded. 'Good, now lets eat, i'm hungry!'

Regna was washing the dishes. ' Thx for the meal Regna!' 'Anytime Miss Niax' Suddenly the the earth was shaking. Lexis ran down the stairs 'Its an earthquake!' Niax ordered 'everyone get under the table quick!' The table now cramped with 5 people underneath. 'its weird to have an earthquake in this area, its not even an earthquake zone' Then a loud boom was heard from afar 'this... this is not happening! THE EMPEROR ORDERED AN AIR RAID!' Regna hugged Same tightly. Lexis and Leong curled up into 2 balls and Niax is kneeling under the table praying. Then everything disintergrated.

Now rubble and debris littered everywhere. Then a concrete slab flipped and revealed Same shielding Regna, Same back is badly bruised. 'Same are you okay?' 'yeah just a scratch, lets look for the others'. They looked around the rubble, shouting out names. Then Leong and Lexis climbed out of a bush 'I can't belive we got so lucky to be blasted into a bush, where's Niax?' the four shouted for Niax. Then a faint voice came from below a giant concrete slab 'i'm..... here....' Same and Leong ran to the slab and moved it away, when Regna saw Niax she screamed. 'Boys... i can't.... i can't feel my right arm' The three boys stared at Niax, speechless. Niax looked to her right 'Shit...' she saw her severed arm a few feet away from where she is.

Chapter 7

'Alright let's go to the ol' supermarket!'. Same and Leong followed Niax. After 10 minutes or so, they saw this sign writing 'Evan Eleven' hanging from a pole with the support of one very thin wire, it looks like its gonna fall off any second. 'Lets see what we can get in this place', Niax walked in followed by Same and Leong. Niax picked up a basket and started scooping anything she sees. Same and Leong followed.

'How long till the lauch general?' '20 hours sire' The hooded figure sat at his throne and sipped his wine cup.

'Wow who knew that Evan Eleven has so much food stored in the storage.' said Niax. 'i think they hid it so after the war they could sell it for a high price' Leong answered. 'Good point Leong, good point...'. 'Same, you're abit silent today?' 'There's nothing to talk about.' 'what you need to tell us about is what did you do with Regna in the training room?' Niax face was lighted up by a sly smile on her face. 'Nothing, she apologized.' 'Then why the hugging?' 'she started to hug me first' Same blushed. 'Oh! someone's in love!' said Leong. Same just ignored him and kept walking. Something caught Same's eye, he bent down to pick the thing up. 'its an earring' 'A very nice earring' Niax added. 'Maybe you should give it to Regna as a make up gift?' Niax and Leong grinned. 'Yeah, i'll give it to her, its not like i'm gonna wear it myself or give it to you Niax' Niax put a hand on her left chest and said 'Oh! you hurt me soooo much!' Everybody laughed.

At home, Regna sat alone on the floor of the bedroom. Lexis was 'exploring' inside the hole. A loud bang went through the house and startled Regna. 'My bad!' shouted Lexis, Regna shook her head lightly and went back into her trance. 'I wonder how long are we gonna live here' she thought.

'Niax!' shouted a very untidy and hairy fellow. Niax looked at the man with no sign of recognition on her face. 'Awww c'mon! has it been that long?' then the figure dropped on the floor and did the Flare. Flare is a move in breakdancing that is derived from the Flair in gymnastics, its is considered one of the hardest moves in Bboying. 'Oh! Dingo! Haven't seen you for long time! you could at least shave you know?' Dingo stood up panting and said 'i can't find the razor, so how are you and Lingard?'. Niax suddenly looked glum 'Lingard went to his tour of duty, his dog tag came back' Dingo looked startled and cover his mouth 'Oh my god! i'm so sorry to hear that.' 'That liar. He promised me that after he came back he would swoop me off my feet to the new house' Same and Leong stood silent. 'Well enough 'bout the sad stuff, who are these two kids?' 'Oh, these two, the came from the past... and they are gonna help me overthrow the emperor.' 'What's gotten into you? you loco Niax? You will get killed!' 'I have my ways... recently i had contacted an officer from the inside, he has agreed to help me with my cause' 'Oh really? when?' 'Soon Dingo, soon' 'Oh ok, if you need anything, i'm always here Niax' 'Thanks Dingo, c'mon boys, let go home'

'We're back with the supplies!' Regna went down and welcomed them. Leong looked around 'Where's Lexis?' 'in the hole'. 'THAT ASSHOLE! DON'T FREAKIN' TOUCH MY GUNS YOU HEAR ME!' Naix went up and jump into the hole. A loud thud was heard and a cry for pain 'YOU FIRED THE INCINDEARY AMMO!!??' 'I'LL SHOOT YOU UP NEXT TIME WHEN YOU COME IN HERE AGAIN YOU HEAR ME!'. 'Wow, that Niax has some serious anger issues' said Leong. Same and Regna nodded in agreement. 'Oh yeah, Regna' Same handed the earring to Regna 'for you...' 'Thx Same!' she immediately removed on of her old earrings and put on the one that Same gave her. 'How do i look?' 'you look great!' Regna blushed. Lexis walked in with his hands on his stomach 'Niax can hit! i guess no dinner for me today'.

Naix was shouting at Same, 'If you're using akimbo, please shoot smartly! finish one gun's bullets, then fired the other loaded one while realoading! got it?' Same nooded. 'And you Leong! aim down your sights before shooting! bullets aren't cheap!' Leong held he D.M rifle to his eyes and shoot. Naix went out for a drink and saw Regna standing outside the training room. 'What are you doin here?' 'Just waiting for Same to finish' 'You don't mind me shouting at your boy?' Regna Shook her head violently 'Please continue your teaching Miss Niax!' Niax walked back to the training room.

'Dinner is served!' Regna handed a bowl of instant noodle to everyone. 'Ahh, warm food' said Niax. Regna took her seat beside Same and announced 'Dig in everyone!'. As if they're coordinated dancers, they were 100% synocronized, they dug their fork in, pulled it up and shoved into their mouth at the same time. Then, everyone in the room stopped 'I guess i put too much salt, sorry guys...' said Regna 'its okay, at least its warm' everyone quietly ate their noodles and went to the bedroom.

Everyone was sound asleep, only Regna was awake. 'Psst, Same, you awake?' she shook Same lightly. Same didn't wake up. She thought 'I guess i'll tell him some other time...' and she was asleep within 10 minutes.

Chapter 6

The sun peeps over the horizon, Niax was the 1st one to wake up. She went to the bathroom and took a bath. She had to use less water because the water is from the rain storage above the roof. When she looked at herself in the mirror, she saw her fiance holding her behind her and gently nibbling her ear. A knock on the door woke her up from her daydream, 'Naix, you in there? I need to squeeze the lemon!' said Same grabbing on his own crotch to hold it back 'Just a minute Same! lemme dress 1st' 'Okay but hurry up! the pipes aren't going to hold long!'. After 30 seconds or so, Naix came out of the bathroom and she felt the speed of Same rushing into the toilet then followed by dripping sounds and a releaving sigh. Niax held back the urge to laugh and went to the pantry.


'We need to stock up today...' Niax stared at the near empty pantry. 'Miss Niax?' Regna asked 'Do you have some...' 'what?' 'you know, the thing that stops the bleeding?' 'oh, i see'. Niax walked to a drawer and pulled out a small white packet and tossed it to Regna. 'Your shorts dirty?' Regna nodded. 'Go to the bedroom, shorts are in the wardrobe's lower drawer.' Regna went up to the room to the wardrobe to pick out some panties and shorts. Lexis is and Leong are still asleep, she quietly went to the wardrobe and picked up the clothings. When she went out of the door and going to the toilet. At the moment, Same was getting prepared to go out of the bathroom after his bath then when he opened the door, Regna's head hit Same in the solar plex and Same felt stinging pain from his upper abdomen and dropped to his knees. 'Are you okay Same? i'm so so so sorry!' 'argh... its fine, i got hit before last time... no big dea...' Same stared at her shorts. 'why is it all red? your shorts i mean.' Regna gasped and slapped Same in the face before she ran to the toilet her face all red.

'What did i do to Same!' she thought to herself. 'Same must really hate me now! i need to apologize to him when i'm done.'. Same was kneeling outside the bathroom door still recovering from the slap 'what did i do wrong? did i offend her?' Lexis came out from the bedroom and saw Same kneeling on the hallway. 'You praying?' Same didn't reply, he was still deep in this thoughts. 'i don't know...' whispered Same. 'You waiting for someone to get out to use the bathroom? who's inside?' 'Re... Reg..na' 'Okay, i'll just leave' 'o...okays'. After 1 minute, Same finally got up, he had forgotten the pain in his solar plexes and slowly walked down the stairs to join Niax for breakfast. 'Why the long face?' Same just gave a tired shrug. 'okay... were running out of food so we going out to find some, you in?' Same nodded slowly and opened the can with his knife.

Regna walked out of the bathroom and saw Lexis. 'where's Same??' 'oh he's downstairs having breakfast, you notice something weird about him? he looks sick'. Regna thought to herself 'Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Same must feel really sad... how am i going to apologize to him?'. Lexis waved his hand infront of Regna who is deep in thought. 'Damn whats with everyone today' He shrugged it off and went to the bathroom. Regna walked down the stairs to see Same, he was seated opposite of Niax and chewing his Abalone Mushroom direct from the can. Regna took a can from the pantry and sat beside Same. 'Can you open this for me?' 'Sure...' Same idly took the can from Regna without even looking at her and opened the canned baked beans and gave it back. Same proceeded to finish his mushroom. 'i'm going to train in the hole Naix...' 'Aww c'mon, there's a pretty girl beside you, i thought you like to talk to pretty girls?' Same just ignored her and went. Lexis walked pass Same, Lexis looked back at him and decided to leave him be. Lexis took a can from the pantry and handed it to Naix 'Please and thank you!' 'you notice something weird about Same today?' Naix said while opneing Lexis canned pineapple. ' I don't know what happened, i saw him kneeling infront of the toilet door this morning, its a weird place to pray.' Naix handed the can to Lexis. 'Ummm i..' struttered Regna, 'I slapped Same by accident this morning'. Everyone was looking startled 'Why did you slap him? did he touch you?' asked Naix 'no, i hit his solar plex by accident and that's why he's kneeling and then he asked me about...' 'he asked about?' 'My stained shorts...' 'ohhh, so thats the problem eh? you sould go apologize to him, he's in the room with the big gaping hole, just jump down and you'll see him' 'okay thanks Miss Naix'. Regna threw the can away and went upstairs.

'Are the prepartions complete?' '23 hours more sire' the hooded figure pacing infront of his throne. he thought to himself 'i must not let tem fufill the prophecy!'

Regna heard gunshots from the hole in the room. She jumped down and saw the amory 'wow, this is a well stocked amory' She went to the door and thought 'wait, i'm in the second floor, i jumped down to the first floor, but i don't recall seeing this amory in the first floor?' She shooked it off 'Focus Regna, apologize!' She opened the door, Same was in earmuffs so he did not hear a thing. Regna observed Same from the back, Same was training his gunslingging skills. Regna quietly walk up to Same and took of Same's earmuffs and hugged him from the back. 'You're not angry?' asked Same. 'how can I be angry with you? that slap was my reflexes, i'm sorry for that. Will you forgive me?' 'Can we stay like this a little longer?' 'Sure Same...'

Naix jumped down the hole and saw Regna hugging Same. 'I'm sorry to break up this sweet moment but we gotta go.' 'Is Leong ready?' 'Yeah he just finish breakfast and waiting outside for you' 'i'll be out in a minute' 'don't take too long Same' A wide grin came on Niax face and she went up the stairs. 'Well go get'em Same, bring back something good' 'i will Regna...' Same walked up the stairs and went to the yard outside the house.

Chapter 5

'Alright were back home' Niax said, panting. The slaves were looking at a worn down neighbourhood. 'Well you guys can choose any house 'cause this neighbourhood is deserted'. The slaves went to find their preferred homes. Only one slave not known to the trio was staying. 'can i stay with you guys, because i would feel safer that way' 'Alright c'mon'. Same stared at the slave and thought she was fine, she had crimson red eyes, sharp chin, long flowing dark hair, good body poportions, she's only wearing a torn red shirt and a pair of Khaki shorts. 'So, whats your name?' asked Same. 'I'm Regna, whats yours?' 'I'm Same, nice to meet you.' 'Nice to meet you too'. Same and Regna chatted the whole way back to the house. 'Nice place you got here' Lexis was saying scarcasticly. 'If you don't like it here, just leave and fend on your own! I didn't wanna save you, i was your friends thta wanted to save you!'. Same and Leong looked at each other and Leong made some facial expression, and same seemed to understand it. 'I've work there for a long time! look i got muscles!' Lexis pulled up his sleeve and showed his muscle. Everyone igonred him, but still he is like a cockroach, coming back everytime. 'You two go get some rest, i'll go train these two fellas' then Naix gave them some bread. 'Eat up, its all we got'. Same, Leong and Naix went into the hole to train somemore.

'Sire, the owner of Aka mines was slain' said the Garbenor. 'Get another Dread to run that place! Don't you know we need to mine for more to make more weapons?' 'Certainly sire' the garbenor went out of the throne room. 'Seems like they're here' said the hooded figure. 'General get ready to bomb the outer ring' 'Anti matter warheads sire?' 'No, high explosives is enough' 'Certainly sire, i'll prepare for the bombing in two days'. The hooded figure sat back on his throne and sipped on his cup 'Seems like the wheel has been set into motion a little early.'

'You freaking hit like a sissy! is that all you got?' Naix was taking hits ask Leong was hitting her insulated guards with the electric pole. Same was slashing at a target with a style that Niax taught him. At the moment, Lexis was exploring the house while Regna is asleep, on the floor. Lexis heard shouting from the second floor, he followed the shouting to the hole. Due to his utter clumsyness he fell in to the hole face first. 'Owww that hurt!' he was rubbing his face and then looked astonished. "Oh my god! I'm in weapon heaven!'. Took a sniper rifle and looked down it sights and try shooting it. Naix heard a bang then something zip by her cheek and by Same's shoulder and into the target. 'Who the hell is out there playin with my guns?' Naix ran out of the door and saw Lexis with the Sniper rifle 'What the hell are you doin here? I told you to rest' 'but i heard shou...' 'Thats none of your business, they're training, you need rest now get outta here!' Lexis went looking dejected. 'Oh and...' 'didn't i told you to go?' 'i wanna ask where's the exit?' 'Its through that flight of stairs'. Lexis whispered 'why does she have to be so..' 'I heard that!' then Lexis just shut his mouth and went up.

After 3 hours, Same and Leong were panting. 'Thats all for today, good job everyone!'. Same and leong lied on the floor for a while before going out of the hole. Same took some food out of the pantry and passed it to everyone. After their dinner, they were arranging their beds. 'I wanna sleep next to Same' said Regna. 'Are you sure? he could be a perv sometimes', 'i wanna sleep beside him, he makes me feel safe' 'whatever you say'. Then a rare sight, Same was blushing. Naix switch beds with Regna. So now, Regna's right was Same, then on Same's right is Leong. Below Regna is Naix and Lexis slept beside Naix. 'good night everyone, we gonna scavenge for food tomorow'. Little did they know that inpending doom is dawning upon them.

Chapter 4

As they walk closer and closer to Aka Mines, its starting to wreek the smell of alcohol. As they reached the mouth of the monster, a Dread comes up and ask 'what you want??'. 'We came here to look for a slave' said Niax. The Dread came up to Niax and reached for her butt but Niax kicked the Dread really hard in the groin. 'you have a new shipment of slaves??' 'i won't tell you!!!' 'are you sure?' Niax pulled out her sword and held it to the hand of the Dread which is covering his groin 'wow if you don't tell me, you can be genderless and handicapped at the same time, so what say you?' 'Kill me! and you'll alert the whole mine, hahaha!!!' Niax sliced the Dread's head clean off and a alarm went off. 'come with me boys, i know the mines well, i may know where they kept that guy with a gay name' said Niax. 'its Lexis miss' corrected Leong 'i don't care now come!!!'


Naix and the boys ran into the mines and stopped at a corridor, Niax is knocking the wall to check for hollow spaces. Then she heard a low pitched knocking sound 'its still here'. 'Lend me your knife Same' Same handed over his anti-matter bladed knife. Naix took the knife and started to look for a slit in the wall. Leong heard sounds of footsteps, he whispered to everyone 'someone's coming'. 'yes! just in time' cheered Niax, the knife went inside the slit then she made a small opening for the to grab on. Then she pulled as hard as he can, then a cuboid of rock fell but then stopped at the point which it is perdendicular to the wall, like a hidden ironing table. 'quick get in!' ordered Niax. Same and Leong went in and Naix pulled back the cuboid. They were literally in the dark now. Naix tore off some of her robe, took out her sword and warp the cloth aroud the blade. Then she used the knife and cut a small slit, because it is anti matter it destroys matter but the kind of metal on the knife, so the slit is glowing bright red then she blew the glowing cloth until its on fire. She returned the knife to Same, 'Lets go'.

They explored the caves, then they spotted a door directly infront of them. 'Ready your guns boys, time to breach this room'. Same took out one of his pistols while Leong prepared his rifle. 'On three... one... two... THREE!' Niax kicked opened the door then moved into the room with the flaming blade giving them light to see and aim. Same saw two guards, 'Leong you take left!'. Two loud bangs were heard, the Dread gguards were dead, Lexis was not in sight but there were alot of girls in the room. 'Same look! its Coral!' Same looked and saw the familiar face. 'How do you guys know my name?' asked Coral. 'We're school mate aren't we?' said Leong. 'i don't remember me atteding any school?' 'Anyways' Naix interupted. 'We have come to liberate the slaves in this mine, is there anyone else?' One slave answered 'the men are working in the mine' 'Ok, you people stay here while me and the boys go and free the men'. 'you can go into the mines by that door' the slave points to the door on the right. 'Ok thanks, lets go boys'

They were running into a seemingly endless corridor, then they heard the sound of chisels chiseling the wall, 'They must be there!' said Naix. They followed the sound a they saw a mild light up ahead, Niax's flaming blade is extinguished due to the lack of cloth to burn. 'Just in time, we'll sneak up on the guards guarding the slaves, there should be very few cause they are all outside of the mines'. They slowly smeaked to the dimly lit area and they saw the slaves. 'Same! Leong!' shouted Lexis. Lexis alerted the guards and came to Niax's direction. 'You guys have a really smart friend' 'He's always like that' said Leong. Four guards running toward Niax and the boys. Leong aimed down his sights while Same pulled out his pistol. 'Same plan Same?' Same nodded. Niax slased a guard diagonally through his torso and stabbed the other one in the heart, Same and Leong took multiple shots to take down their target because they panicked. Niax slashed the slave's chains. 'Go to the girls, we meet you guys up there!' shouted Niax. The slaves ran to the holding cell where the girls are. Only Lexis went with them. 'i see your friend doesn't listen to orders' 'He's like that, he has no friends at school and he presisted not to make any' 'Sad friend you have, enought chit-chat, lets go!'

They ran to the holding cell again, then lead the slaves to the ironing table. Niax pressed her ears to the wall to listen for footsteps. 'Seems like they're amost reaching the mines, we can go out now' Niax pushed the cuboid rock down and everyone took turns crwaling out of the hole. Naix lead the way to the exit then they saw one of the Dread bosses. 'Long time no see Naix, how are you?' 'i'm fine thank you now could you excuse us?' 'Tsk tsk, Niax, how could i let you go, you're taking my slves with you' the Dread boss pulled out his sword. 'Its been a long time Niax, shall we?' 'I'd love to, don't interfere boys its between me and him'. She pulled her sword out and and hold her scabbard in her other hand. 'i didn't teach you this.' said the Dread boss. 'Who says i need to learn everything from you?' Then she clashed swordswith the boss. They done a series of strikes coiming right out of a kung fu flick. 'I wished i ahve my phone right now' saw Lexis. Same and Leong just ignored Lexis and watched the fight. Naix defended herself by using the scabbard, then she turned her back really quickly and stabbed the boss in the neck. '... you... win... i'm.. prou.' The boss died on the spot. 'Follow me people!' the slaves followed Niax into her neighbourhood
